 Paul Radford

Brass

Paul Radford  has 48 years experience in banding and has been a Brass Player since he was 12 years of age. He was taught by his father the Late “Len Radford” who was well known for his brass teaching on the Sunshine Coast. 

 A well known reputable trumpet teacher on the Gold Coast. He has taught many instruments of the Low brass family from Baritone, French Horn, Euphonium and Tuba as well as the AMEB syllabus from Grade 1 to Grade 8 for Brass and Woodwind to grade 4 levels. Paul holds a Griffith University certificate in Conducting and has attended numerous seminars and workshops and held in high regard for his music integrity.

A member of  Education Queensland from 1997 to 1999 on woodwind , brass and percussion as well as several private schools namely St Andrews Lutheran College, Trinity Lutheran College, Marymount College and recently Emmanuel College. Paul has achieved excellent results in Eisteddfods and is an experienced  conductor. 


Leisa Goldsworthy

Piano & Vocal

Leisa Goldsworthy is a graduate of WAAPA with an ADPA in Jazz Vocal and has been both teaching and performing for over 25 years. Leisa has performed overseas and all over Australia from the Opera House in Beyond The Darkside The Pink Floyd Experience Show to an outback party in a shearing shed!  

Leisa currently works in solo, duo, trios and bands in and around Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Leisa loves to teach vocal, piano and theory from beginners to experienced including AMEB or other exams, also performance preparation for Eisteddfods and concerts. Each lesson is tailored to meet the singing student’s needs whether it be popular/current musical styles or jazz, music theatre, country, pop or rock. A wide range of piano styles are covered from beginners to intermediate including Classical in piano lessons, however if you are wanting to write songs, chords and pop and jazz styles are covered.

Good technique is important and fostered in both piano and singing. Can anyone learn to sing or play?  Yes!! If you love it and want to practice, you can achieve your goals!
